There is a new Science Fiction movie out called Inception. I read this as a quote from the star:
What’s the most resilient parasite? An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules.
— Leonardo DiCaprio, Inception
I don’t think he quite understands the meaning of the term “parasite”.
par·a·site n.
1. biology: organism living on another: a plant or animal that lives on or in another, usually larger, host organism in a way that harms or is of no advantage to the host
2. scrounger: somebody who lives off the generosity of others and does nothing in return.
While typing this I immediately thought of the word Democrat. Purely a coincidence I am sure.

Not a religion you say? Tale a look at this:
Green faiths count on oil spill for converts
Believers tout stewardship, not domination, of God’s creation

Where would Jesus drill?
Religious leaders who consider environmental protection a godly mission are making the Gulf of Mexico oil spill a rallying cry, hoping it inspires people of faith to support cleaner energy while changing their personal lives to consume less and contemplate more.
“This is one of those rare moments when you can really focus people’s attention on what’s happening to God’s creation,” said Walt Grazer, head of the National Religious Partnership for the Environment.
Activists in the movement often described as “green religion” or “eco-theology” are using blogs and news conferences to get the word out. Some are visiting the Gulf, inspecting oil-spattered wetlands and praying with idled fishermen and other victims. And believers in the stricken coastal regions are looking at the consequences of the oil’s reach and asking what good can come out of it. . .
During worship services on a recent Sunday, pastor Eddie Painter of Barataria Baptist Church in the fishing village of Lafitte, La., told his congregation a silver lining in the tragedy might be renewed government commitment to restoring the region’s battered coastal marshlands. . .
No surprise this comes form California’s Monterey County Herald.

This is a kinda cool and follow the link and there is a video to go with it.
From Newz is Newz and PhysOrg.com:
The Federal Aviation Administration in the US has given approval to the Transition, a two-seater flying car developed over the last four years by Massachusetts Company, Terrafugia.
The flying car, or “roadable aircraft” as the company calls it, was designed by a team of engineers trained at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It can drive like a car at normal highway speeds but can also unfold its wings and fly.
The vehicle runs on normal unleaded gasoline and has a cruising speed in the air of around 185 kph (115 mph). Its flying range is 740 kilometers (460 miles). When driven like a car with its wings folded the fuel consumption is around 7.85 liters per 100 km (30 mpg). The use of normal fuel instead of a reliance on aviation fuel will make the Transition the most environmentally friendly plane in the air. The vehicle will have features of regular road vehicles, such as crumple zones and airbags.
